Terrence D. Griffith is the Senior Pastor of the oldest African American Baptist Church in Pennsylvania, the historic 208 year old First African Baptist Church of Philadelphia.  He is a former Senator of Her Majesty’s Queen Elizabeth Parliament in Grenada and the author of eight published books: Grenada:  The Jewel in a Communist Crown; Issues Too Hot To Handle; A Guide to Discovering Spiritual Gifts (Co-Authored with Dr. J. Milton Thomas and Dr. Mark A. McCleary); How To Find Solutions to Financial Problems; Galatians: A Prescription for Liberty; The Church Under Siege; How To be An Effective Leader and Why Women Say All Men Are Dogs. He is currently working on—Cut From a Different Cloth: A New Paradigm for Black Leadership.

He was listed in Who’s Who among Authors in American and in the Nationwide Register of Who’s Who in Executives and Businesses.  He was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr’., Board of Preachers of Morehouse College. He has guest lectured on: Low Intensity Military Conflicts at several Philadelphia area colleges including Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ), Cabrini University, and Temple University-Ambler Campus. Griffith was a speaker and moderator at the 2015 World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia when Pope Francis visited.

He has served on several Boards including:

He has preached and spoken in the Caribbean, Canada, throughout North America, Europe, Korea, Israel and Africa. In Korea he spoke at the 250,000 member Myung Sung Presbyterian Church.  Pastor Griffith has been married to the lovely Ann-Marie for the past 31 years. They have two children, Raisa and Mikhail and are the proud grandparents of one beautiful grandson, Jayden.
